I start with the basic coverage of the reception for $599. There is nothing "basic" about the way I shoot and edit your wedding, however. I treat every wedding as if it was the most important wedding in the world, because in fact to you, it is the most important wedding in the world! I do not have different levels of quality based on how much you spend. Every wedding gets the same commitment, quality and equipment. I shoot and edit all weddings myself and NEVER subcontract out. CEREMONY I use the newest Panasonic AG-DVX100A. This is a 3-chip DV "cinema" digital camcorder. For audio, I use a Samson wireless lavalier microphone on the Groom to clearly record the vows, and a Panasonic omnidirectional microphone on the camera. Coverage of the ceremony begins outside the church with a shot of the exterior of the church and guests arriving. I then go inside the church to get shots of the Groom and Best Man nervously waiting "backstage" as well as various shots of your guests. I go outside again to catch the Bride arriving in her limo. From this point on I am strategically but discreetly located in the best vantage point possible to capture your ceremony and vows. Near the end of the ceremony, if possible, I move to the back of the church for the final blessing and to capture you walking down the aisle amid the applause of your guests. I then record all of post ceremony activities such as your receiving line, church photos, etc. RECEPTION At the reception, I am best described as candid or unobtrusive. Instead of listing everything I do at the reception, let's just say I am constantly on the move looking for great shots. I have never put the camera on a tripod in the corner and walked away. I capture all the fun and important moments of your reception and I stay until the last dance . EDITING I edit the digital DV tapes on a brand new state-of-the-art Macintosh G4 dual processor computer using Final Cut Express 2 professional editing software. I edit every wedding with an unlimited amount of time and care so that your wedding video (DVD) will be the best you've ever seen. Each edited wedding video contains all the best shots of your special day using various transitions and slow motion effects. Please note that I only use transitions and effects to enhance your video, I don't just throw them in because they look cool or because my computer has hundreds of effects. DVD Your edited wedding video is presented to you on a DVD in a custom case at no extra charge. I prefer to use DVDs because their audio and video quality is far superior to VHS. Your DVD will have "menus" and "chapters" allowing you to find particular scene quickly, and DVDs will last for generations - far longer than videotape. Every wedding DVD I produce has a beautiful animated title screen and a chapter menu to let you quickly navigate to any part of the wedding video.
