The Pinson Valley Marching Chiefs have long enjoyed a tradition of excellence both on and off the field. Every Friday night during the all at football game halftimes, the Marching Chiefs light up the field with an explosion of music and color, and have earned a reputation as a crowd-pleasing band. At125 members strong, with 60 wind players, 16 percussion, 47 auxiliaries (colorguard and danceline), and two drum majors, the Marching Chiefs continue to grow both in size and ability with each passing year. The Marching Chiefs generally do four separate pieces per show--an opener (usually Spanish in style), a drum break (though in the past two years this has turned into a filler, and the drum break is integrated into the feature), a feature showcasing the danceline that is usually very crowd pleasing, and a closer. We invite you to come check out the sights and sounds of the Pinson Valley Marching Chiefs!
