INSTRUCTIONS
A) Turn under each piece of ribbon by cm and secure with a dab of "Tack-Stick".
B) Lay one piece of CraftMistress flat on the table.
C) Place the long pieces of ribbon on top of the CraftMistress, 1.5 cm apart, securing them in place with the "Tack-Stick".
D) Place the shorter lengths of ribbon across the ends of the longer pieces of ribbon, again securing them in place with the "Tack-Stick".
C) Carefully smear the "Tack-Stick" on the CraftMistress around the edges of your ribbon "grid", and then place the second piece of CraftMistress over the top. The "Tack-Stick" will keep the CraftMistress in place.
D) Load your bottom bobbin with the same quality embroidery thread as you use in the needle.
E) Sew along the lengths and ends of the ribbon "grid" (through all thicknesses), to secure the ribbons in place.
F) Using running stitch, sew a "trellis" pattern over the ribbons, again through all thicknesses. You may find it useful to gently mark the CraftMistress beforehand with a water-soluble pen, as a guide for your sewing lines.
G) Take the 9cm length of lace and sew in place (through all thicknesses) across one end of the embroidery with the machine. You may find it beneficial to repeat this process to ensure the lace stays in place.
H) Carefully wash the embroidery in warm water to remove all traces of the CraftMistress.
I) Dry flat, and then press into shape under a damp cloth.
Your embroidery is now complete!
