We use a methoddeveloped over 23 years of service to churches. Firstwe use an exterior marine gel-coat designed to withstand direct light andweather extremes. Both U.V. Mockers and U.V. stabilizers are added and even anadditive to reduce algae growth has been added. Nextwe seal the gel-coat surface with one of the highest quality polyurethanetopcoats available. The topcoat seals the entire surface eliminating rundown,chalking and crazing of the gel-coat surface this surface never needs waxinglike a bare gel-coat surface. Pleaseremember a steeple with no barrier between the sun and gel-coat will certainlybecome chalky and rundown on your shingles.
