CraftMistress stabilisers can be used to back embroidery, button-holes and complex seams. Once the film's work is done, it disappears entirely with no need for boiling or time consuming trimming. All that is required is cold water!

New specifications have been developed to enable the user to embroider directly onto the product. After use there is no residue and the resulting items are created solely from thread they are stitched sculptures.

An endless list of products can be created using these wonderfully innovative techniques. Results include laces, fabrics and appliqu as well as hats, bags, gloves, dresses, lampshades, parasols and toys.

Coral Bailey, the Export Sales Manager of CraftMistress has been involved for some years refining the product to best facilitate its design potential. The result is a stable easy to handle medium, very much less costly then the original boil-away product it replaces. The new product has enabled artists and designers to cross the boundaries that previously constrained their creative talents furthermore, it has facilitated ease of use among the less experienced.
