The Town ofCraftsbury, and it's villages of Craftsbury, East Craftsbury and CraftsburyCommon are known for their friendly, hardworking practical inhabitants. Craftsbury is rural and still has a number of working farms nearby, butwe're not so far removed:  Montpelier, the capital of Vermont is lessthan 40 miles to the south, Burlington, Vermont's major city is less than70 miles to the west, and Montréal, the most European city in NorthAmerica is just over 120 miles to the northwest.   Craftsburyis home to famous inns, B&Bs, a renowned outdoor center and a college. The neighboring town of Greensboro and it's Caspian Lake bustles with summeractivities.   The headquarters of Circus Smirkus is just a fewmiles away.  The Craftsbury Community Care Center is directly involvedin many community events and many community events occur at the Care Center. Here is just a brief sampling:
